1. The short version

The EskoAI product is private by architecture: it runs on your machine and we never receive your conversations, documents, or memory bank. The only personal data we handle is what you give us to place and fulfil an order.

2. Who is responsible

The operator of eskoai.eu, trading as EskoAI ("we"), is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at enquiries@eskoai.eu.

3. What we collect and why

• Order details — your name, email address, company name (optional), billing country, and chosen license term, which you enter on the license page. We use these to confirm your order, take payment, deliver the installation service, issue your license key, and provide support. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Payment — payments are taken by our payment processor. Your card details go directly to the processor; we never see or store them. The processor provides us with confirmation of payment and the billing information needed for our records. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legal obligations (accounting and tax).
• Correspondence — emails you send us, which we keep for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and maintain a record of the engagement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Basic server logs — our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

4. What we do not do

• We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and this site sets no cookies.
• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not receive any content you give the EskoAI application after installation. Your memory bank, chats, and datasets live on your hardware only.

5. Who we share data with

Only the service providers needed to run the business: our website hosting provider, our payment processor, and our email provider. Each acts under its own data protection commitments, and we share only what each needs.

6. Retention

Order and billing records are kept for six years as required for UK tax purposes. Correspondence that does not relate to an order is deleted when no longer needed. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for short rolling periods.

7. International transfers

Our hosting and payment providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK-approved adequacy decisions.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict processing; and request portability. Write to enquiries@eskoai.eu and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes affecting existing customers will be notified by email.
